Changelog

What's new in each version of MinPin.

MinPin 1.0.1

  • Repeat through your rules no longer applies them twice: a rewrite rule that adds a header adds it once, and breakpoint or script edits no longer stack.

MinPin 1.0

  • Capture HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, WebSocket, gRPC, GraphQL, Protobuf and Server-Sent Events.
  • Per-host and per-app SSL decryption with a root certificate created on your Mac; apps that pin certificates are detected and passed through.
  • Breakpoints for requests, responses, WebSocket frames and Protobuf payloads, edited in the Debug Window with undo and find.
  • Rewrite rules, Map Local (also straight from a request), Map Remote, block and allow lists, throttling and DNS overrides.
  • Compose, Repeat, Batch Repeat and edit-and-resend, sent through your breakpoints and rules.
  • Waterfall view with timing phases, a legend and keyboard navigation; imported HAR files keep their timings.
  • Security Mode: 98 built-in detection rules (threat intelligence included), a rule editor and Sigma import.
  • MCP server: 27 local tools for Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf.
  • JavaScript scripting with ten ready-made add-ons.
  • Reverse and upstream proxy, and opt-in TLS cipher and version mirroring.
  • Setup for this Mac, the iOS Simulator, iPhone and iPad, Android and your code; a phone's traffic is grouped under the device.
  • Optional privileged helper for reliable system-proxy switching.
  • Menu bar mode, and saved sessions you can reopen later.
  • Export as HAR or CSV, generate code, or publish a request to a Gist.
  • Anonymous usage and crash data, opt-out in Settings → General.
  • Free tier with 30-minute sessions; PRO unlocks modification and automation.

MinPin's built-in updater installs fixes and improvements as soon as they ship.
