Install MinPin
Download, install, and launch MinPin in under a minute.
- Download the latest DMG from minpinproxy.com. The saved file is named by version (for example
MinPin-1.0.1.dmg). - Open the DMG and drag MinPin into your Applications folder.
- Launch MinPin. It's notarized by Apple, so it opens without a Gatekeeper warning.
- On first launch the Welcome to MinPin window walks you through trusting the CA certificate so HTTPS can be decrypted. Reopen it any time from Help → Setup Guide… (
⌘⌥P). - Install the Proxy Helper (optional): open Tools → Proxy Helper… (or Settings → Tools) and click Install Helper. On macOS 13 and later, macOS may ask you to allow MinPin in Login Items; on macOS 12 you are asked for your admin password. The helper makes system-proxy switching work on non-admin accounts and stricter security policies, and restores your previous proxy if MinPin quits unexpectedly.
Requirements
- macOS 12 (Monterey) or later
- Apple Silicon or Intel (a single universal binary)
- ~60 MB disk space
Updates
MinPin keeps itself current with a built-in updater (Sparkle). The download link always serves the latest version.
