Privacy & Telemetry
Captured traffic stays on your Mac. Anonymous usage and crash telemetry help us improve the app.
MinPin does not upload the HTTP/HTTPS traffic you capture. License activation and check-ins send your license key, a hashed device identifier and your Mac's name to the MinPin license server. When telemetry is enabled (default), MinPin sends anonymous usage and crash data to us, for example app version, macOS version, app-launch events, and stack traces after a crash. This does not include your captured requests, responses, or CA private key.
Turn off Send anonymous usage & crash data in Settings → General to opt out. After a crash, a brief in-app notice may appear; Firebase Crashlytics handles upload automatically on the next launch. Other outbound connections happen only for checking for app updates and optional actions you trigger yourself. See the website Privacy Policy for the full statement.
