Overview
MinPin is a native macOS proxy debugger for capturing, inspecting, and modifying network traffic.
MinPin sits between the apps on your Mac and the internet as a local HTTP/HTTPS proxy. It captures every request and response, decrypts HTTPS for the hosts you opt in, and lets you inspect, modify, replay, and export that traffic, all in a fast, native Swift + AppKit app.
What you can do
- Capture HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, WebSocket, gRPC, GraphQL, and Protobuf from any app.
- Decrypt HTTPS per host with a locally-generated root CA.
- Modify traffic with breakpoints, rewrite rules, Map Local/Remote, throttling, and DNS spoofing.
- Replay requests (Compose, Repeat, Batch Repeat) and export to HAR/CSV/code.
- Automate with JavaScript scripts and a local MCP server for AI assistants.
- Scan traffic for leaked secrets and PII with Security Mode.
Free vs PRO
The free tier includes the full capture pipeline, SSL decoding, filtering, search, bookmarks, block/allow list, throttling, and DNS spoofing, with 30-minute capture sessions. PRO removes the session limit and unlocks breakpoints, rewrite rules, Map Local/Remote, Compose and Repeat (including Batch Repeat and Edit and Resend), JavaScript scripting, Security Mode, Waterfall view, session save/load, HAR/CSV export, code generation, reverse and upstream proxy, and MCP.
